SwingNation
Yehoodi's own SwingNation! Short format Lindy Hop news show for the dance community. Enjoy.
We talk to up-n-coming rising stars in the Lindy Hop scene, Alexis Davila and Cyle Dixon Jr. They were teaching in the San Francisco area so we sat down with them to talk about their dance origins and other Lindy related topics.
Our interview with #CrazyRichAsians musical performer Jasmine Chen.
The SwingNation crew sit, drink tea and talk about some of the highlights and low lights of the 2017 Lindy Hop year.
For Pride Month, we were proud to host a conversation with Adam Brozowski, Hallie Kuperman, and Lori Taniguchi about LGBTQ+ issues in the Lindy hop community.
This month we keep it simple and remember a man who dedicated his life to Lindy Hop. Happy birthday, Frankie Manning.
We talk with Remy Kuoakou Kouame, Sara Deckard and Andrea Gordon about the current issues of Black inclusion in the Lindy Hop community.
We had the pleasure of spending some time with Sonny Allen. Sonny is a Harvest Moon Ball champion dancer who also does mambo, foxtrot and tap. Sonny talks candidly about his childhood, Savoy Ballroom experiences and and life as a dancer. He was personal friends with many well known musicians and dancers including Sammy Davis Jr.
The swing community continues to deal with issues of sexual assault, rape culture and misuse of positions of power.
