Black History Photos from Getty Images Now Free for Educational Use

Are you creating a web page, flyer or poster that references the Black roots of lindy hop and swing jazz? Good news! There’s a new set of photos being released soon from Getty Images that can bring your media project to life. The Black History & Culture Collection will be soon providing access to historical and cultural images of the African / Black Diaspora, gathered from content owned by Getty Images.

The photos cover a huge range of topics and time periods. But a quick search revealed a number of images of jazz artists and a few pics of dancers. Hopefully more will be added later.

So if you have an educational project that could use some awesome photos of Black artists, dancers, and musicians, you can apply to gain access to this archive.
